Well, I was told that I would be switching from Vista to Windows XP today, and the day is nearly over and I am still on Vista. The last laptop I had was a 1st generation Macbook Pro from Apple. It was a 15.4" wide laptop and I had just come from a 12.1" Acer before that.
The new laptop is a Sony Vaio with a 11.1" screen and that makes it VERY small. It came pre-installed with Windows Vista Business Edition, with an optional Windows XP install CD, in case you hate Windows Vista.
After less than a week, I am still loving Windows Vista. I must admit that it is not as elegant as OSX, but it does the job well enough. I like it a lot and it is growing on me.
One more round of Tribal Wars and then I am off to sleep!

I heard the wireless and sleep functionality sucked in Vista with laptops. Are you using the wireless?
On the vista business desktop that I have running, after every 2-3 updates, I somehow loose wireless connectivity. Frustrating!!!
