The Cold

I'm sick. I have a cold, apparently its not the flu, so I'm happy. My nose is constantly running and I have been doing the wrong thing trying to self-medicate.

The doctor tells me I was stuffing my body up cramming all of the medication I could find into my body to whips this things ass, only for it to be making me more sick - so much for that :)

Well, my car finance got approved, so I should be getting it this week, hopefully, and only if the fleet guys where I work can sort their asses out and get it into gear. I suppose that I am very impatient when its like at arms length away and I can feel it with my fingers.

Other than that, I have been trying to finish off GRAW2 and started a new game called Echanted Arms, which looks interesting (its a Japanese RPG and they seem to saw a kakload of stuff).

Quick update

Shew, its been some time since I posted anything here. I have been quite busy with rebuilding and re-arranging all of my data on the my Ubuntu server. Its been a steep learning curve, but I have decided to continue on with my 2007 Motto of KIS - Keep It Simple.

My time has also been going into some work related R&D around SIEM - Security Information and Event Management. Something which sounds quite boring, but excited a quasi-geek like me a little :)

I'm also seriously thinking of trading in my car for another BMW (330i, old E46 shape) and I'm going to need to make a decision within the next day or so, so stay posted for some news - if I remember :)

I'm getting itchy "fingers" to do some more roleplaying, but I'm not sure what not when I am going to be keen to play.

I'm also sad as a good friend of mine is tucking tail and going to live in England and I'm going to miss him terribly :(

But life goes on and for some it doesn't :)

Windows Vista

Today I reformatted my Windows Vista Ultimate machine. There where a number of applications that I needed to run, which where not working so nice on Windows Vista. It was all linked to the fact that I could not install these applications with Admin privileges, which meant that I needed to go back to Windows XP, puke!!!

So, I decided to install Ubuntu Desktop as all I basically use my desktop for is for storage. Ubuntu here we come!!
