Midweek update
Well, the stitches where removed this Monday and we had to put a new bandage on to assist her NOT to lick/bite the wound as it must have been itchy :) She handled it very well for the past two days and then on Wednesday (today) and when I walked in the door, she had already removed most of the bandage on her leg :)
Everything seems Ok with her at this stage, so looking good. Now we just need to ensure that she does not stress the leg too much over the next three months and take her once a week to hydrotherapy - yes, you heard correct :)
On the computer gaming front, I have decided to sell my PC and focus more on console gaming. As you may be aware, I am an Xbox 360 junkie - which is weird as I was anti Microsoft for some time now...
I just need someone to buy my PC now - which I have been coming to realise is not something that is quite easy in this country, with one or maybe two places to sell it online and none of them seem to have a large audience.
Anyway, thats it for me for now - check back later this week for another update :)

Animal surgery and other odds and ends
Well, its been a long time since the last time I posted.
First off, my dog, Tara (she is a German short haired Pointer) and she busted her cruciate knee injury about three years ago and then, last Friday she broke the other cruciate on her right leg.
The first injury to her left leg, has left her leg very sore and she goes to Hydrotherapy twice a month, which has significantly helped her leg muscles adapt with her non use. No when her right leg heals, she will be off to hydrotherapy, weekly.
To all pet owners out there, please seriously consider investing in Pet Medical Aid - both of her cruciate injuries have cost me about R15,000.
Other than that, I have been playing Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 1 (GRAW1) almost every night, and I have got my hands on GRAW2 already - but I will only play that game once I have finished the first one. I must say, that now I cannot skip past the in game footage/movies/cut scenes, the game as been a lot nicer to play. I used to always skip through the movies and such in the past, I never knew how much I have missed and how richer these games are now that I am watching the in-game footage.
