South Africa out of the Cricket World Cup

Well, its been a few days since I was even hoping to hear the word "cricket" and here I am posting about the South African's exit from the Cricket World cup. They played an "interesting" game which caused them to be soundly beaten by the Australians.

I'm not calling for heads to roll or coaches to be fired, I just want some form of consistency and I feel that the problem is with quota's. we took three players of color with us and only two of them played and the Petersen was in bad shape as he got NO game time.

Anyway, we are out and now its just Australia vs Sri Lanka. I'm rooting for the Sri Lankan's. I hope they kick ass - but I have to admit that the Australians are VERY strong at the moment.

Other sad news is that my brothers dog (the mother/bitch/damn of my dog) contracted some weird undiagnosed and untreatable blood disease and after one blood transfusion and some experimental medication was still going south at a rapid rate. So this afternoon she was put down. I am extremely sad and depressed about it - but I know its for the best as she was suffering and bleeding from her nose.

I know she's in a better place and that she was loved and will be missed.

I love you Jessie and will miss you (as if dog's can read this, its the thought that counts)

Salvo, I love you sense of humor 'as if a dog could read this' !!!

I am very sorry for your loss, I know when they say a dog is a mans best friend that it seems odd but I think the reason is the dog can't answer bad when a man talks which is purely a women's perspective I know but anyway.

When we lost both our dogs in SA just before we moved to the States, it was a huge loss to us, felt like losing a child, since at that stage they were our babies. It's I am sure, even more difficult when they have been with you a long time too, ours were only 3 odd years old so ... our sympathies to your brother too.

Take care.

Quotas shouldn't be used. South Africas Political-Correctness can border on the absurd. My Condolonces about your dog. It's heart-wrenching when one loses "Mans Best Friend".
